Shari and Steph recently had the privilege of experiencing one of the newest luxury cruise ships to hit the water: Explora I sets a new standard. From the moment they stepped onboard, it was clear it was going to be an amazing experience. The ship features beautiful suites with heated bathroom floors, pickleball and basketball courts, spa and gym, and a variety of elevated dining options.
The food is delicious. As sushi lovers, they found themselves returning to Sakura four times during the trip—it was that good. The freshness of and attention to detail in every dish, paired with the impeccable service, made dining onboard an absolute pleasure. Everyone went above and beyond. Starting with the personalized service from our host, every crew member was attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in their enjoyment. The staff went out of their way to make Shari’s birthday a memorable one, complete with a surprise cake and decorations in-suite. These were just a couple of the many ways they make you feel special throughout the voyage.
The suites are beautiful; a sanctuary of comfort and elegance. Shari and Steph swooned every time they stepped onto the heated bathroom floor—a small touch that made a big difference. The décor was chic, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view from the private terrace was simply breathtaking. Each room also comes with a dedicated host (think: butler), ensuring that every need is met promptly and with a smile. The ship's design and thoughtful layout create an atmosphere of spacious tranquility, allowing you to relax without ever feeling overwhelmed by the number of people onboard.
Perhaps the most telling sign of the cruise's excellence is that all SWT clients who have spent time aboard Explora I had the same reaction and have already booked their next journey.
