For some of us, the hardest part of travel is leaving our fur babies at home, so we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite pet-friendly hotels in the U.S. you and your four-legged children are going to love…..
At the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, you're welcome to bring two pups per room and your dogs will be treated like royalty. Plush dog beds and homemade treats are provided in your room and pet cabanas, strollers, and beach access are some extra fun amenities. Just ask Shari about her dog Zeppelin’s swoon worthy visit.
Not only does the St. Regis Aspen Resort welcome your four-legged family members, they have their own, Kitty, Bernese Mountain dog and hotel ambassador. Kitty hosts nightly Champagne sabering in the Fountain Courtyard and monthly Bark'n'Brews events to raise money for the Lucky Day Animal Rescue of Colorado. For a nightly fee, your pups will get to luxuriate in St. Regis dog beds. Plus, you can bring them along around the property and around the super dog-friendly town. A block away, dogs are allowed to frolic off-leash at Wagner Park. Further afield is Rio Grande Park, another off-leash spot and the largest park in Aspen. If you're heading out on on a humans-only excursion, the concierge can assist you in arranging dog walkers or sitters.
When visiting one of the US’s most dog-friendly cities, it's almost a crime not to bring along your furry friends. The Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego offers spacious pet-friendly rooms on the first floor and allows two dogs per room. Located right next to Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve and only a short drive from numerous dog parks and a fab dog beach, you can take your dogs along on your adventures. If your plans take you somewhere your pups can't join—rare in SD!—don't worry, you're able to leave them in the room while you're out.
Montage Palmetto Bluff has an unofficial "must love dogs" policy. They not only welcome your dogs, they also have several of their own Labradors, most named after local rivers. The acres of green space to run and play on and miles of trails are perfect to explore with your pups by your side. Palmetto Bluff pampers your dog too: cushy dog beds, cute bowls, and homemade dog biscuits are just the start. They also provide over-the-top fodder with meals such as Angus beef and pasta among Chef’s pup-friendly specialties. If your dog would prefer to join you at dinner, head to the patio at Buffalo’s, a casual spot where pets are welcome.
